my experience of working in China

In Europe or America, friend is friend & work is work, people have the clear differentiation line between them. However, in China, it's not that clear. In the beginning, people trust the skill & knowledge, after that, people make the relationship as the priority. But it does not mean the innocent. It just means people much more demanding of the friendship. And such friendship is even more important than the skill/knowledge in the operating of the works.

For any people work in China or working closer to China seller/supplier, it needs to know that, the local Mainland Chinese have the very high expectation for the people especially coming from Europe & America. It needs the talents to be cool enough on the own professional, globalized mind & accepting of Chinese culture. Those 3 key points are more & more important everyday, coz there are also locally produced a lot of the talent every year & much more study aboard people coming back to China.

Chinese people are also proud on the traditional culture & feeling it's one of the best in the world. Any foreigner cannot use the own rules to implement in China nor screwing such feeling from the Chinese people, it would just react the negative feedback. And there is also involved the political factors people educated the collectivism is more important than the individualism. The workable way would be like a consultant to advise the opinion & method to finish the work. Besides, any opposite opinion would be imagined as the challenge instead of thinking to make the solution more perfect. If you are want to invest directly in China, it needs also the training to upgrade the people for getting the loyalty to the organization.
