I have always been a animal lover and one year my husband Dale saw Punxsutawney Phil on tv and said to me "You love animals why don't you write one about Punxsutawney Phil. So I did
and when the Punxsutawney chamber of commerce heard the song they invited me to play it at their national press conference.
It was a lot of fun I got to meet all the men you see with the big top hats that take care of phil and I got to meet Phil.
The song just talks about peoplt who come from all over to see the days events of groundhog day. The song has gotten a lot of attention on radio and television and we have had problems keeping up with the demand for the cd. I really enjoy music and writing about the everyday events of life with family and friends. So this song just fit right in with my other music.
