Indian captain Mahendar Singh Dhoni was bid for the highest amount of $1.5 million by the Chennai team. The second highest amount was for Andrew Symonds, he was bid for $1.35 million.

The Indian Premier League is all set begin from April 18th. The players started reaching their franchises and started practicing. Everyone is eager to see their favorite players in their home team.

The Indian Premier League is Scheduled in such a way that each team will play 7 matches in their home ground. It is also taken care off that the matches will be held in the evening timings to encourage the ground viewers.

There will be total of eight teams among them four teams will reach the semi finals. There they will fight for the seat in the finals. Whoever wins in the finals will grab the cup along with the huge prize money. The prize money is three times the prize money of the cricket world cup.
