When owning a home there is always a chance that there could be some issues that will need to be tended to. Sometimes newer homes get pipes that are clogged and will overflow too so be careful. You may want to think about having a some reliable mold remediation products ready in case of an emergency. The more proactive you are about getting this water leak fixed the less chances of a mold outbreak you will have in the home. Never forget, black mold doesn't take long at all to spread throughout your home so you can just sit back and let it take over your home.

I have experienced plumbing leaks in our home and the water came up and overflowed into our office area. I was in awe that my computer server as such a great swimmer because that and the carpet where sitting in about 2 inches of water. i needed to get this fixed as soon as possible so i went down to the office and tried to assess the damages and i already smelled that musty smell that mold spores give off when you have a mold problem. I was unable to get any work done in the office because i started to get all congested and eventually my head started throbbing and my skin turned real red from irritation. i knew then it was time to gather my resources to clean up this mold before it was too late.

I checked checked an online mold store and and bought me some safe mold remediation product that really proved to be an advantage for me. I went and searched for a local machine rental store and i rented a machine that would suck up the extra water and steam my carpets at the same time. i went back home and began to start the mold remediation process. The first thing i did was use the water extraction machine and vacuumed up as much moisture as i possibly could. The mold remediation kit that i bought came with two different types of mold cleaning products.

One was to kill the mold and the 2nd mold remediation product acted as a shield to prevent the mold from returning. I will explain later how much advantages i received usingthis mold removal kit. I first took the mold killer and filled up the carpet cleaning machine to the max level and added no water. After i used the carpet machine to apply the solution to every area of the carpet that was wet and made sure the mold cleaner got to the root of the carpet so the brushes of the carpet cleaning machine could lift up any mold spores and dirt. I then let the organic black mold cleaner set into the carpet for about 15 minutes to lift up all the mold and kill it. I filled up a 1 gallon spray bottle like they pest control guy uses and applied the mold cleaner again just for precaution to make sure i got all the areas. I preceeded to use the carpet cleaning machine but withthe vaccuum turned on so i could dry up all the moisture.

Ok so the begining of the mold remediation task is done. The next part was easy. The secondnatural mold remediation products was the black mold shield. I applied the solution to all the carpeting in the room and left it alone to dry. That was it! The back of the bottle said to reapply if needed in which i did to be better safe than sorry.

Now i have no smell of mold in my office and I and i can breathe freely and get more work done without worrying about leaving the office with a headaache from the black mold because it is gone. My main goal was to remove the mold from my carpets in which i was successful. But i didn't think that this solution would clean the carpets as well as it did. i am probably more excited that the mold problem was dealt with before the problem cost more money to fix.

Carpet mold can over take a home in no time at all. If you don't use a good mold killer, the mold may become harmful to you and your families health.
