Mens Designer Clothes

Designer clothes are at the centre of much debate recently; is designer fashion really for the conscious middle class boys that care more about how they look than who they are? No, and this article wishes to dispel that concept...

What designer clothing does hint at, however, is that those who purchase this kind of apparel are conscious of various types of expression through art, music and film. This is because many of the clothes (tees, jackets, jeans…) carry intricately designer artwork created by studio professionals whose influences expand across different elements of the media. This separates these clothes from your local thrift store where you can pick up a pair of jeans for a fiver.

Quite often the garments are made from high quality, hard-wearing materials and possess enhancements within their design. Drunknmunky, for example, often display their branding in a sort of “welded” material, raised from the garment itself, where Gio Goi (a Manchester based brand) designs are more often printed on the fabric itself.

It’s hard to imagine a world without designer fashion. You don’t have to be fashion conscious or pretentious, to indulge in designer clothes, but you do have to be influenced by the arts and have your finger on the pulse at all times.
