If you're looking for useful tips in taking celebrity party photos, you're coming to the right person.
The celebrity party has always been one of my
favorites for both boys and girls of any age. Roll out that red carpet, because here come the stars!
Let the kids dress up for their big event. You will need the assistance of a few adults with this theme.
It wouldn’t truly be a red carpet event with out the paparazzi. Decorate the area surrounding your red carpet with balloons, streamer and flowers (artificial ones will do) if you don’t mind a little mess get some confetti or make some rather a lot and toss the confetti at the birthday boy or girl and snap your photo’s do the same with the guests.
Celebrity stand-ups of their favorite celebrities and sports hero’s.
Hanna Montana, Derek Jeter, High School Musical Star “Troy” Zach Efron and just about any dead or alive celebrity can be purchased in cardboard form and make a great creative photographic memory.
I have found that most if not all of this celebrity stand-ups look so life-like that you could fool anyone, who looks at the party photos!
These are also great for adults everyone has a favorite celebrity.
For a child being in the spotlight will guarantee you the biggest most priceless smiles you will get at any birthday party!
If you are looking to
simply capture the moment without a lot of whoopee -do then try these suggestions for party photos.
1)
Wrap a large sturdy empty box that will hold your child's weight in colorful paper and ribbons. Set the birthday boy or girl on top of the box, place their gifts around them near their feet and give them one to hold use a few balloons and other patty favors to complete the mood and say cheese!
For a group photo of the family or party guests with the birthday boy or girl, rearrange the gifts so they are not sitting on or cramped into a small area have them sit around the guest honor and also hold a small gift and smile.
2)
Cake time is a must have photo for all birthday parties.
To take the best photo of the birthday boy or girl with their cake stand on a chair and have the subject look up at you this will allow you to get a picture of the child and all of the cake at once.
For the candle, blowing photo kneel down so you are eye level with the child and snap the photo.
3)
Gift time photos are also an important picture opportunity you don’t want to miss. This one can be very challenging especially if the kids are young.
I suggest having the birthday child open a few guests allowing you to get down eye level with him or her and have the guests stand behind you so you can get a clear shot.
Be sure to decorate the gift table with party favors and balloons.
For group photos of the gift-opening stand on a chair behind all the kids, use your zoom, and take the party photos from a birds eye view.
Just be careful the chair doesn't get bumped and you end up on the floor!
Being creative when taking those special party photos doesn't mean you need to spend a lot of money or stress yourself out trying to get the perfect birthday picture. More times than not that perfect picture will be one of the ones you didn't set the stage for, there is something to be said about candid shot!
