Introduction

Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28th States of the India Unions which attained its statehood in 1987. However, the emergence of this state is an output of the philosophy of the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru who evolved the principle of integration to bridge the hiatus between the mainstream India and the isolated people of Arunachal Pradesh.
