Lasik …Do you get what you pay for?? What???

I have been dreaming of having Lasik for years. I swore I’d like to take the step when they finally had enough of dollars for expenses. I made an appointment with Drs. King and Mockovak, which have an obvious Lasik Clinic in Renton. They performed Lasik my husband for years and he does not seem to suffer any ill effects.

They have three options for surgery. Lasik conventional Lasik and the new personalized IntraLase “All-Lazer” Lasik. From thick that the new bag IntraLase LASIK as the prevention of Halo and glare problems that are common with Lasik. They also say that gives the best overall results. This is about $ 800 more than the Custom Lasik. Both eyes would amount to a total of $ 4000 with IntraLase. They told me that I do not have large pupils or a current problem with glare or halos. I suppose that if I did, IntraLase really make sense. Is it really the Lintralase likely to make a difference for me or is that just like the purchase of “protective layer” for new cars finished his painting? (Not hurts, but simply do not make a real difference). I think my eyes are truly worthy of getting the “best” I Lasik, but I also can not see unsuccessfully spend money on things that we do not need.

They also have some kind of small plug that can be inserted into his tear duct. It helps me keep the eyes hydrated with their own tears. They are $ 100 per eye. You still have to do a lot of drops. It worth it?

Tips and warnings of welcome:)
