There are several free ones on the web as well as paid ones. With the proper keyword tool you will be able to research and find what keywords people are using to lookup on the internet. A keyword research tool in my opinion is the most important item you can have as far as niche marketing or any other type of online marketing for that matter. How can you possibly know what the best niche is if you don't know what people are looking for.

I will spend my time finding out what people want or what they are looking for first. When I find what people want then I will go and get a product for these potential customers. Don't ever be afraid of competition but when you are starting out it is better to find a niche that is less popular.
