Therapy-
People go for therapy. After some months or years they change the therapist and continue like that. I have yet to meet a person who was cured by therapy. There must be many but I have yet to talk to one as yet. I remember a person who had adopted Buddhism to overcome this problem. But after reading some posts I felt that she was trying to live in a make believe world.
Work-
That is another suggestion. Try to give maximum time to work and forget about heartbreak for that time. Here again I found that everybody was coming back to the problem after sounding optimistic for some days. Doing work does not stop the feelings.
Help others-
This is one more way out suggested. Try to look at others pain and forget your own. Try to help others and feel good about that. Yes one surely feels good about helping others but the loneliness of nights brings back the intensity of heartbreaks with full force.
There are many other ways that are suggested. I personally feel that grieving is the best way out. Trying to forget what happened is difficult. But trying to grieve over it may help. These are my own suggestions and observations. For your personal problems please consult a person who is qualified.
