Coldplay UK Winter Tour Tickets Sell Out

Coldplay are one of the most prolific bands of the new millennium with a popularity to match. The tickets for Coldplay's UK winter tour went on sale May 30th at 9:30am and just 20 minutes later both London 02 dates (December 14th and 15th) had completely sold out.

Coldplay’s last tour in the UK was at Manchester’s MEN Arena in December 2005; which was followed shortly afterwards with a four month tour of the US which culminated at Philadelphia’s Wachovia Centre. The great news is the Coldplay tour will be returning to Philadelphia live on stage this year on June 29th and tickets are available to be won via a competition and Coldplay fans will find out who has won these once in a lifetime tickets on June 5th.

The band has a busy schedule for this latest Coldplay tour and will be playing two free shows – one in London’s Brixton Academy on June 16th as well as New York’s Madison Square Gardens on June 23.

With ticket’s already being in short supply, online ticket companies such as TicketNova is now one of the few places where Coldplay tickets are still available. Numerous websites are already showing sold out tickets for Coldplay’s shows in London and Belfast - whilst other websites are now charging several hundred pounds to encourage die hard fans to enter in to a bidding war.

Coldplay - who have just released their fourth album 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends' - look set to continue their meteoric rise through 2008.
