Don’t deny it, you know as well as I do that birthdays are a blast. It doesn’t matter if it is yours or someone you know, a birthday always calls for a good time. It is a day where everything should be all about you. Don’t feel bad for thinking that way, because deep down inside, we all have that selfish little fetish on our minds. Here are a few reasons why birthdays are so much fun.

Birthdays are a blast because it is a chance to relax. I remember as a kid, when it was my birthday, I didn’t have to do any chores. This meant that I didn’t have to clean up the dishes after dinner, take out the trash, or help with any household chores because it was my day. Granted I don’t have the same privilege now, but there are a lot of companies who are willing to give you your birthday as a personal day. It’s a perfect excuse to take the day and do whatever it is you want.

It’s one of those days where you can catch up with those who are most important to you and who have had the significant influence in your life.
